Report on Vulnerable Protocols

A study by LACNIC CSIRT has identified vulnerabilities in protocols that are being used to carry out denial of services attacks in the region. The goal of the study was to improve the cybersecurity levels of the IP resources managed by LACNIC, thus contributing to Internet stability and resilience by minimizing the potential use of UDP protocols in DDoS attacks.
